We manage public access Internet and Voice-over-IP telephony networks. Our clients include hotels, businesses, and student residences. Our national client brands include Coast Hotels, Hilton, Delta, and Campus Living Centres (representing multiple colleges and university residences across Ontario). We are a dynamic and innovative team working in a field that is cutting edge.

We are looking to expand our team of Network Support Analysts to accommodate our growth. PofP presents an excellent employment opportunity for a bright, hard-working, outgoing ‘computer geek’.

You will be reporting to the Operations Manager, and will be based out of the Toronto office. You will be a key player in providing the high-touch customer service offered by PofP. As a Network Support Analyst you will respond to end-user tech support issues for both first and second tier support issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. From time to time in-field work will be required for both on-site support and new network installations.

Experience, Skills and Personal Attributes:
• Post-secondary education such as a college diploma or applicable certification in the computer networking field.
or
• Minimum 2 years experience in similar job, with technical support call centre experience being a definite asset.

• You are interested in new technologies.
• You enjoy “getting your hands dirty” occasionally to install networks or resolve technical issues on site.
• Must be fluent in English (written/verbal) with a professional communication style. If you are fluent in French – even better!
• Able to skillfully and patiently direct users to resolve issues via telephone and email.
• Must be able to take part in an after-hours on-call support rotation. Flexibility around non-conventional work hours may be required.
• You have excellent problem solving skills.
• You are proficient with Windows Networking connectivity issues; familiarity with Macs is an asset
• You have a good working knowledge of TCP/IP protocol, and Layer 2 networking.
• Any experience you have with VoIP technology and services is an asset.
• You are very detail-oriented with a good eye for patterns and recurring issues.
• You are proactive, action-oriented, and committed to delivering the highest level of customer service
• You are outgoing, eager, and personable, and enjoy working directly with end-users.
• You are a self-directed and resourceful team player with the ability to work with little face-to-face supervision.
• You have a valid driver’s license
