With this intent, we are currently seeking a Sr C++ Unix Server Systems Developer Engineer to join our team:
The Position:
As a Sr C++ Unix Server Systems Developer Engineer you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our high performance, mission critical trading software. You will be at the heart of the team that powers the business.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical and design solutions
• Provide team Leadership in a Agile or Extreme coding environment
• Work as part of the tightly-knit team for our 'best in class' trading software suite
• Work with the QA, release, and production teams for rapid development cycles
• Balance serious long-term development work with tactical changes
• Integrate new requirements and technologies to drive the business forward
Qualifications:
• Minimum 10 years experience in Unix server design and development; Sun Solaris experience preferred
• Minimum 5 years experience in a senior development role
• Experience with UML
• Extensive C++ server experience is a MUST
• Strong knowledge of networking and inter-process communication
• SQL, ODBC, and JDBC experience helpful
• Knowledge of QT is an asset
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Stock Market knowledge is an asset
