Located in the trendy Liberty Village area of downtown Toronto, HInext's offices are easily reached by road, TTC or GO transit. And our Loft-based offices allow for easy walking-distance access to cafes, coffee shops, fitness gyms and more.
The position is initially contract but is intended to develop to a more permanent standing with HInext.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Object-oriented analysis, design, programming and documentation
Participation on development and project teams
Written design documentation - i.e. UML
Interaction with customers
Dedication to produce quality code to project timelines
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
University Degree in Computer Science - or related
Java (3+ years (educational), 0~2 years (working experience))
RDBMS technologies - SQL, ODBC, JDBC (2+ years)
XML (1+ year)
Microsoft Windows Server, IIS (2+ years)
HTML, CSS, Javascript (2+ years)
PREFERRED
Web Server technologies - JSP, Servlets
.NET, C#
MS SQL or Oracle Servers
JQuery
Design Patterns
HL7 v2 and v3 (Health Level Seven)
This is an entry level position (less than two years work experience).
