F/T & P/T Licensed Electricians and 3rd/4th year Apprentices (GTA)
at Human Resources in Toronto
We are currently seeking full time and part time licensed electricians and 3rd/4th year apprentices for mainly residential and some commercial projects at various locations within the GTA.
Licensed Electrician
The candidate must have the following qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years Canadian experience in residence and/or commercial.
• Must possess a valid 309A license, own basic tools and workwear.
• Must be able to work independently and direct an apprentice when appropriate.
• Ability to assess and correct electrical deficiencies.
• Ability to determine the required supplies and tools/equipments for a given project.
• Able to effectively communicate issues and required supplies/tools/equipment to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job.
• Effectively complete a project while adhering to timelines.
• Must have good knowledge of the ESA’s codes and abide by them.
• Knowledge and compliance to fire codes and health and safety codes.
• Must be prepared to carry out projects at various locations as required.
• Must be ready to work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
• Have own vehicle with a valid G license.
• Excellent problem solving, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• A team player, fast-learner, detail-oriented, efficient, punctual and ambitious.
3rd/4th year Apprentices
The candidate must have the following qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years Canadian experience in residence and/or commercial.
• Apprentice must possess appropriate documentation, own basic tools and workwear.
• Able to effectively communicate issues and required supplies/tools/equipment to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Effectively complete a task while adhering to timelines.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job.
• Must have good knowledge of the ESA’s codes and abide by them.
• Knowledge and compliance to fire codes and health and safety codes.
• Must be prepared to carry out projects at various locations as required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be ready to work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and preferably own a vehicle.
• Excellent problem solving, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• A team player, fast-learner, detail-oriented, efficient, responsible, punctual and ambitious.
