Solace Tanning Studios is Toronto waterfront’s only upscale, modern and professional tanning salon.

We are now hiring for a PERMANENT part-time position. We are looking for someone who is responsible, polished, energetic, professional and business minded. Qualified individuals must have strong interpersonal, problem solving and multi-tasking skills, organizational abilities and a positive, upbeat attitude.

We need someone who is a quick learner and who can work unsupervised, open/close the store, be the face of the company and always greet everyone with a smile and a positive attitude.

Job description is but not limited to:
•greeting customers in a friendly, upbeat and professional manner
•respond to customer inquiries
•basic salon management
•sales
•maintain/update customer records
•clean and sanitize tanning equipment and rooms
•process payments and transactions
•open/close the salon
•general cleaning and salon upkeep

Education/ Experience: High School, College/University. Must have customer service experience and proficient computer skills. No tanning experience necessary but would be beneficial. *Solace Tanning Studios will supply training and certification.

Compensation: Hourly wage starts at minimum wage + commission, bonuses and FREE tanning!

Approx. 30 hours/week
Example of shifts:
2 weekday shifts from 11-5
2-3 weekday shifts from 4-9 *possibly 1 weekday shift from 11-9
occassional weekend shift

Flexibility is very important as you may be required to pick up additional shifts as well as the occassional weekend shift. We are looking for someone who doesn’t have any other commitments and with a flexible schedule. This position could turn into an assistant manager role depending on performance.
