CNC Machine Operator

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Set up and operate various machine operations and/or power hand tools to produce various parts that meet quality and production requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
• Set up parts by following established procedures
• Operate manual machines and/or power hand tools to produce basic parts following procedures
• Program and/or edit CNC machine following procedures
• Provide feedback on existing work processes
• Assist with root cause analysis
• Transfer and share knowledge with other team members
TECHNICAL/PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
o Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment
o 3+ years of machining experience
o Ability to read and understand o GD&T symbols o blueprint o CAD drawings
o Hand tools o Power tools o Measuring tools
o Inspection experience
o Previous tight tolerance experience
o Experience with: o Milling o Turning o robotic loading systems operation
o Grinding o Roughing o Finishing
o Experience with multi-axis mill turn
o Demonstrated ability to finish grind to extreme tolerances on multi axis machines
o Strong Team Player
o Good communication skills
o Knowledge of proper Health and Safety measures
o Flexible with rotating shift work
