$50-$65 an hour Depending on Experience and credentials
Our client is looking for several WebLogic J2EE applications developers
Must Have Qualifications:
1) Weblogic Portal and/or Integration experience a plus
2) 4+ years of Java/J2EE Experience
3) Oracle 9i/10g Experience, SQL, PL/SQL
4) Frameworks, J2EE Patterns and advanced J2EE topics
5) Java/JSP/EJB/HTML/XML/Portal/JSTL/Xdoclet/struts and other open source J2EE technologies
Responsibilities
Applications Developers plan, design, coordination and integration of all activities related to organizational information systems and software applications adhering to a well-defined SDLC. Individuals analyze broad, complex problems and situations and identify key components for solutions delivery. We are seeking Web Application Developers who will be involved in design, development and implementation of Java/J2EE web applications. An ideal candidate will be innovative, adaptive and eager to take on new challenges.
1) Assists in technical development, unit testing, and implementation of application systems
2) Develops detailed flowcharts to show processing logic for simple programs
3) Codes and unit tests computer programs for relatively straightforward or small project
4) Prepares documentation such as release notes relevant to less complex applications
5) Works with the application support team to assure a seamless transition to production of relatively simple applications
6) Builds awareness of business and IT strategies that impact supported organizations
7) Builds awareness of risks associated with application development and of potential impacts within IT, the business, and / or the firm's reputation
8) Write documentation as directed
