Licensed Sales Assistant (Downtown)
at Human Resources in Toronto
Our client is seeking the above-mentioned to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Responsibilities:
- Assist IAs with all administrative and secretarial duties. To provide investment information to clients, answer general client inquiries and initiate action on client complaints.
- Request information and documentation from new clients to begin the process of opening a trading account, obtain missing documentation.
- Check/investigate buy/sell orders and report accordingly.
- Compose letters and memos of a general and standardized nature.
- Manage IA calendar and book travel as required.
- Input data to automated spreadsheets and databases.
- Greet clients arriving for meetings.
- Refer client request/complaint information to PMs
- Respond to client inquires and complaints.
- Investigate client complaints related to account status, fees, etc. and make corrections where necessary.
- Maintain client files.
- Respond to client inquiries and complaints.
- Review client portfolios monthly to ensure all records are in order.
- Complete client forms and documentation on their behalf.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education preferred
- Completion of CSC and CPH and currently licensed
- Basic knowledge of investment portfolios
- Knowledge of financial industry and 2+ years of experience in role
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong PC skills (Word, Excel).
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
