Intermediate Creative AS3 Flash/Flex Developers
You are a Flash developer working on cutting-edge websites and interactive multimedia projects that preferably have experience in financial services websites. Experience building financial calculators, web applications and/or eCommerce web-based solutions would be a definite asset.
The ideal candidate possesses talent and passion for Web design and development. As a Flash developer you will be involved in designing creative solutions to applications with our client's development team. Strong communication, team work and self-motivated skills are expected.
Essentials:
3+ years of ActionScript 3.0 experience
Experience implementing OOP concepts with ActionScript 3.0
Experience integrating Flash/Flex applications with server-side technologies such as Java and PHP using Flash Remoting and Web Services
Experience with Flex Builder and the Flex Framework
Knowledge of XML and E4X syntax
Proficiency in Adobe CS4 Suite (Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Optimization of elements and videos for varying bandwidth and platform requirements
Some experience with HTML and CSS
Assets/Nice to Have:
Ability to comprehend custom frameworks then apply and/or extend them
Experienced with SEO for both HTML and Flash sites and applications
Understanding of DOM, and JavaScript
Building integrated data-driven applications that link to other third party APIs such as facebook and open social networking sites
Knowledge of Regular Expressions
Familiar with the W3C Standards
