Receptionist (Toronto - Yonge and Bloor)

Position: Receptionist
Location: Toronto, ON
Responsibilities:
• Answer all incoming telephone calls and assist clients with general inquires.
• Receive and send courier packages.
• Receive, sort and distribute external mail.
• Greet visitors professionally and with appropriate service level.
• Assist with New Hire Orientations
• Assist with setting up computers and offices for new employees.
• Assist with various utilities bills breakdowns as well as completing expense forms.
• Stock refrigerator and coffee station in the kitchen and all boardrooms daily.
• Assist with catering orders and setup for various miscellaneous office meetings.
• Assist with various other office events such as annual staff retreat , holiday party and any social events.
• Assist staff with AV issues in boardrooms.
• Empty and load dishwasher daily.
• Contacting building maintenance and printer service centers for repair or maintenance issues.
• Track variety of basic supplies including pantry, courier, taxi chits, packing supplies, and general office supplies.
• Assist consultants around this office with faxing, photocopying, scanning, printing, binding, filing and packaging of promotional materials.
• Maintain general office appearance such as tidying printing stations, boardrooms and watering plants.
Qualifications:
• Pleasant phone mannerisms and outgoing personality.
• Good communication skills, quick learner, and enjoys a fast-paced environment.
• Solid skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Possess strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and a well-defined work ethic.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Excellent team player, able to ask questions and get the job done.
• Comfortable and proficient with current software.
• Has a basic understanding of Accounting.
