Financial Analyst (Toronto, ON)

POSITION: Healthscreen Solutions Inc (TSX-V:MDU.V), Canada’s fastest growing company according to the PROFIT HOT 50, is currently looking for a dynamic and energetic individual to fill the full time Financial Analyst position.
LOCATION: Downtown Toronto at the intersection of Bay and Bloor, directly above Bay subway station, steps away from Yorkville.
Position Overview
The purpose of the Finance Analyst is to provide accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial analysis/reporting of GL accounts for Healthscreen Solutions Inc.
Duties and Responsibilities:
o Assist in preparation of monthly reporting schedules and GL reconciliations.
o Assist in preparation of monthly departmental reporting and analysis.
o Assist in the month-end close process.
o Assist with gathering and preparing information required for quarterly and annual audits.
o Assist with the processing of month end adjusting entries.
o Provide ongoing support to the Finance Team.
o Assist in the development of new analytical processes for accounting procedures.
o Ad hoc projects as required.
Qualifications
o 3 years experience in an accounting role.
o Minimum Education – Post Secondary with degree in Accounting or Finance.
o Strong technical accounting background.
o Experience with account reconciliation and analysis.
o Strong intermediate level computer knowledge
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Strong analytical skills and knowledge of variance analysis.
o Deadline sensitive.
