Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Bilingual Paralegal / Contract Specialist with experience in Ontario Common Law as well as Quebec Civil Law. The successful candidate will have experience in contract management, agreement review and legal drafting.
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience drafting and reviewing corporate agreements for accuracy, risk assessment / mitigation in both English and French under both Civil Law and Common Law
• Licensed Paralegal or significant equivalent work experience for both Civil Law and Common Law
• Possess the ability to work with outside counsel
• Work with senior management to define and implement policies relating to agreement and contract usage and tracking
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Relationship skills to confidently build a solid network internally
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent English & French business communication skills – both written and spoken. Excellent English & French legal drafting.
• Any Document Management Software experience nice to have
