Job Description
As a Database administrator you will be responsible for responsible for the performance, integrity and security of the various database. You would be involved in planning, development and troubleshooting of existing databases, managing them and merging them.
Primary Responsibilities
• Working on the existing databases and software, maintaining integrity of the data
• ensuring that storage, archiving, backup and recovery procedures are functioning correctly
• establishing the needs of users and monitoring user access and security;
• Commissioning and installing new applications.
• installing and testing new versions of the database management system (DBMS)
• communicating regularly with staff to ensure database integrity and security
• ensuring that storage, archiving, backup and recovery procedures are functioning correctly
• Work with the ADAD program for auto fax campaigns, manage the Fax number list and ensure “do not call” numbers are purged.
Job Qualifications
• Networking Graduate or diploma holder
• Logical thinking and detail oriented
