Grossman Dorland & Associates, a Toronto-based Recruiting Agency, is currently working with this company to find a Senior Java Developer. The Senior Java Developer is a part of a dynamic, tightly-knit product development team that is determined to create and deliver the most innovative, cutting-edge products in their space.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop and support the application platform and features, with a focus on the application’s server-side.
- Lead and mentor junior developers.
- Research new technologies to contribute to the product’s evolution.
- Collaborate with Product Management to refine requirements.
- Create and execute unit tests cases.
- Participate in stress, load and performance tests to improve product performance and stability.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience including EJB3, JBoss, and MS SQL. Experience with JBoss Seam and JSF is a nice to have.
- 5 or more years of J2EE software development experience, including experience with small to mid-sized software companies.
- Due to the extensive team collaboration, excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Self-motivated and passionate about development as you will be a key contributor to the success of the organization.
