Our client, located in Mississauga, is a retail organization. They are currently looking for a Recruitment Specialist.
Role summary:
To provide support to Store Operations in the recruitment and selection of Management personnel. To provide orientation and recruitment training and development to all Management. To help foster and maintain a positive employee relations atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
• Conducts thorough behavioral interviews for all Store Management, Regional Office and Visual candidates and provides recommendations to hiring Manager on qualified candidates.
• Conducts exit interviews on all Management. Analyzes and shares findings. Provides recommendations to improve employee retention.
• Completes Reference Check and Job Offer for selected candidates.
• Networks and brings forward candidates as required.
• Ensures all candidates met are logged in HR Expert.
• Promotes and manages the Referral Reward program within the region.
• Participates in salary decisions with Operations for all new Management candidates to ensure fairness, equity and consistency.
• Maintains statistics on best hiring practices and shares findings with the Human Resources Department and the Operations Team.
• Manages internal and external job postings.
• Maintains collaborative relationship with Staffing and Networking Coordinator and ensures candidate leads and hiring statistics are tracked.
• Facilitates orientation for all new Store Management, Regional Office and Visual hires in a timely manner.
• Facilitates training programs demonstrating strong facilitation skills.
• Supports Operations in developing comfort/confidence in networking by conducting networking workshops.
