Casual Event Services Housepersons (Metro Toronto Convention Centre)

CASUAL HOUSEPERSONS
Positions are currently available in the Event Services Department for Casual Housepersons, who will report to the Event Services Management Team.
Responsibilities include setting up and taking down equipment for events and maintaining all equipment and keeping them in good repair.
Heavy lifting and strenuous activity involved. Previous experience in a similar environment dealing with large functions/shows is desirable, as is training in proper lifting techniques and forklift operation.
These are on-call positions requiring flexibility and shift work, including days, evenings, midnights and weekends. Candidates must have their own safety shoes and have good verbal communication skills.
