Our Client is offering a challenging position within a fast-paced environment where you will use your strong customer service background, verbal communication and interpersonal skills to respond to telephone inquiries and requests for counselling, as well as other related behavioural health services. In providing this support to callers in need of assistance you will:
• Respond to telephone client requests, assess client needs and determine the level of urgency.
• Provide information on programs, with the goal of matching client needs to appropriate services.
• Collect and enter client intake information and refer to appropriate service provider.
• Initially respond to crisis calls and ensure client is assisted by a Client Care Counsellor until resolution.
This position is a great way to gain experience in the field of human/social services. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor degree, community college diploma or equivalent post secondary education. You will thrive on providing exceptional customer service, combined with the ability to communicate clearly to our clients and colleagues. You are familiar with MS Windows (Word & Excel) and can work in a fast paced call centre environment with multiple time sensitive deadlines. The call centre services our clients year round and includes day, evening and weekend shifts.
Must be available 7 days a week- 6:00am- 11pm 37.5 hour work week.
