BiblioCommons, a leader in Web-based search and discovery solutions for public libraries, requires a experienced Java developer.
The Position:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Java developer, to contribute in a big way to our innovative social discovery platform for libraries. If the following describes you:
- You're most comfortable in a flexible, collaborative environment
- You believe in releasing value to users early and often
- You thrive on building best-of-breed technology, and making it scale
- You can deliver high quality code quickly

Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 5 years Java development experience
- 2 years building online, highly scalable applications
- Experience with J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and/or PostgreSQL
- Ruby on Rails experience an asset
