Oracle/Cognos Developer - Capital Markets (Toronto)

Good day all,
At the moment we have a 6 month contract available in Toronto Canada with a major bank (downtown)
Role: Cognos/Oracle Developer
Location: Toronto(downtown bank)
Type: contract - 6 months
Status: accepting resumes with Canadian experience
Pay rate: $45-60/hr depending on experience
Role Overview:
The role is to lead design and develop database in an Oracle environment for Cognos used by our Market Risk group to analyze risk metrics such as sensitivities for all Capital market traded products (ie FX, Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities).
This person will be responsible to design the required database schema and design reports for this project. Key skills are
- Oracle 10g (9i is fine too)
- Familiar with Capital Markets traded products and risk metrics
- Experience in Windows platform
- Experience designing DBs for Cognos
- Other technical skills would be C++/C#, .NET, Java (Unix is an asset but not required)
