Technical Architect - C/C++/Java/.Net/C# in MS Enterprise Env (Downtown Toronto)

Our client is looking to add an Architect to their high-profile project on a contract basis ASAP.
Project Details:
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Reviewing application architecture and assessing the operational impact on the architecture and implementation.
- XML, Web Services, C/C++, Java, .Net/C# in a Microsoft environment - distributed enterprise environment
-Security Architecture and Design
-Application Performance Engineering.
-IT Infrastructure Services. Data Centre Management for large scale distributed enterprise systems.
Technical Environment:
-High-Availability Computing Platform and Clustering.
-Virtualization: Citrix XenServer, HyperV.
-Networking: VLAN, MPLS, TCP/IP, Network monitoring tools.
-Wireless technology: HSPA/EVDO with site-to-site VPN, WiFi and WLAN with Cisco AP, 802.11
-Microsoft SCOM, BizTalk Server, Dynamics AX Server is preferred but not required
-C/C++, Java, Microsoft .net/C#,
-XML, Web Services
-Configuration Management and related SCM tools.
-SQL Server Enterprise.
-Technical Enterprise Architecture standards
Essential Qualifications:
-Minimum 8 years in Software and distributed Enterprise architecture.
-Minimum 6-8 years of programming experience developing applications for a large-scale high-availability distributed enterprise computing platform.
-3 years experience working with configuration management and deployment of large scale applications.
-Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
