Job Duties
• Direct and manage multiple projects to deliver strategic business solutions including developing, maintaining and monitoring project budgets to ensure that there are no costs or resources over runs
• Provide guidance and direction as appropriate on the scope of the proposed solutions/actions to effect organizational transformation
• Provide liaison and consistent contacts for internal clients, to communicate business changes required and consolidate them to manageable packages of project development
• Develop and maintain effective communication linkages with all associated parties to share information and facilitate consultative discussions on issues/ risks that may impact both internal and external parties and/or obtain consensus or advice and direction on strategic issues and conflicting priorities
• Ensure quality of work is achieved within the projects through ongoing review and evaluation of project objectives and project deliverables
• Build quality in work processes and efficiencies that will ensure the best possible solution generation across the company’s multiple initiatives and set a new direction for best delivery of service to clients
• Report on program milestones and risks/issues to Program Directors, Program Sponsors and Board of Directors and consult with them on new initiatives that will impact strategic direction
Skills and Experiences
• 10 years + experience is required and an MBA would be ideal
• Ability to communicate and work with employees at all levels of the organization
• Recognized certification, such as PMP, is an asset
• Extensive experience in large complex technology and business process improvement projects
• Demonstrated leadership in delivery of enterprise-wide solutions
