Senior Systems Adminstrator (GTA)

Our client a leader in there industry is seeking a full-time permanent Senior Systems Administrator for their location in the GTA.
The ideal candidate will posses the following skills and qualification:
Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years experience working in a LAN/WAN environment as a network administrator or a systems engineer.
• Proven experience with Exchange, any versions, and a minimum of 1 year of experience with Exchange 2007 and spam filters.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Windows servers including 2003, and 2008.
• Proven experience in the management, deployment and administration of layer 3 switches, wireless access points, firewalls, and routers.
• Proven experience with VPN, Routing Protocols (OSPF), QoS technologies.
• Experience with Network Access Control configuration is an asset
• Proven experience with Cisco ASAs or Sonicwall firewalls.
• Some administration experience with Microsoft and SQL databases 2005 or 2008.
• Some experience in Powershell.
• Any kind of related certifications would be an asset.
Major Responsibilities:
• Manage and monitor LAN/WAN network services.
• Recommend and provision equipment replacement/upgrade as required.
• Maintain inventory of all network devices.
• Draft and maintain LAN/WAN Network documentation and processes.
• Undertaking routine preventative measures and implementing, maintaining and monitoring network security, particularly if the network connects to the internet.
• Plan, design, and install new releases, vendor upgrades and patches for all Network devices.
• Introducing and integrating new technologies into existing data center environments.
• Performing routine audits of systems and software.
• Troubleshooting any reported problems.
• Planning and implementing future IT developments and undertaking project work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Manage and mentor other Systems Engineers.
