Truition is a full service application provider of industry-leading technology focused on e-commerce sites, branded marketplaces and sales distribution to marketplaces such as eBay. Truition caters to mid-market and enterprise clients such as Dell, MLB, NHL, NBA, ShopNBC, SIRIUS and many more.
Job Description:
The Systems Administrator is responsible for working with the IT staff and computer technology to provide technical duties as set out below.
The following provides specific functions of this position:
• Windows administration – NT4.0, windows 2000, windows 2003, windows XP – core requirement
• Security management – PCI (Payment Card Industry) security standards
• Microsoft Clustering technologies – nice to have
• Linux/Unix administration – nice to have
• Scripting – shell/Perl
• RDBMS database experience – working knowledge of databases
• Web services administration – IIS 5, 6, Apache
• Firewall administration
• Network managed switch administration
• Hardware load balancer administration
• SAN/NAS experience
Key Performance Indicators of this position will be:
• Excellent organization skills with proven ability to multitask
• Basic project management skills
• On time/budget delivery
Education / Experience and Candidate attributes:
• College Diploma/University Degree
• 2-4 years of directly related work experience
• Experience in MS Office, Visio
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities
• Strong work ethic
