Business Analyst (Toronto-downtown)

Preston Human Capital Group is privileged to be assisting SickKids Foundation in searching for a Business Analyst to join their Direct Marketing Annual Giving team. In view of your position in the industry, we would welcome any suggestions you may have regarding suitable candidates for this role.
Reporting to the Director, Donor Loyalty, the Business Analyst supports the Annual Giving Team as it relates to direct response marketing efforts to both acquire new donors and retain and grow exiting donors. Key responsibilities include analyzing direct response marketing data and trends to produce key performance metrics reporting, program analysis, data extractions and models and donor profiles. The Business Analyst will make recommendations for data and test strategies for future campaigns, segmentation and life-time value assessments.
We are seeking candidates with the following qualities:
University degree in math/statistics or business preferred
Minimum of 3 years direct experience with the following:
Data mining and interpretation,
Business and marketing analysis,
Quantitative and statistical techniques,
Development of propensity/predictive and market segmentation models,
Marketing program measurements and test design (test and control sampling)
Experience in direct marketing based activity (DRTV, direct mail, telemarketing, online, face-to-face)
Experience in the use of query and database management tools with a focus on reporting and data extraction techniques
Self starter who can multitask; work within a team environment and independently
Advanced technical skills with Microsoft Office, including Excel
Strong knowledge of direct to consumer marketing techniques, including lead management and campaign analysis
Knowledge of and experience with SQL and Raiser’s Edge preferred but not mandatory
