A few hours per day or per week of visiting the seniors could make a whole world of difference for them and be a heartening satisfaction and experience for the volunteers. Meetings are held quarterly with all volunteers to discuss their valuable experience, exchange ideas and input.Training will be provided for the volunteers in interpersonal skills and feeding. Must have the ability to work well with others. Must speak English. Millennium Support & Care Group will assist volunteers with the Police Reference Check. Cost of the record check for volunteers is approximately $15 CDN. Food and beverages will be served free for the volunteers.
