Role: Marketing Coordinator
Description:
This “business building” role involves designing, developing and implementation of marketing initiatives that drive revenue growth; and is critically important to the continued growth of the PartStock business unit under the Xchange Technology Group umbrella. The PartStock business unit (BU) operates with distinct go-to-market plans and objectives; while maintaining an integral alignment to the overall corporate strategic plan.
Responsibilities:
Working primarily with the PartStock management team and the Sales team liaison, the successful candidate will excel and create value to the organization in the following areas…
• Heavy focus on providing and managing regular, timely content and promotions to support all sales e-communications via the Eloqua tool
• Create and execute the defined PartStock marketing communications plan for FY 2010
• Create, manage and order PartStock all marketing materials for newsletters, customer loyalty programs, fax-blasts, tradeshow signage, and any other business unit collateral
• Manage the logistics of tradeshow preparation - shipments, booth setup/teardown, travel arrangements and customer appreciation events
• Work with supervisor to create and execute new marketing campaigns as necessary
• Manage all direct mailings for PartStock throughout the year, including holiday items to customers, customer appreciation campaigns, and others
• Responsible for reconciling invoices and tracking marketing budget
• Coordinate resources to effect web-site updates, re-design and e-commerce storefront development as required
• Support marketing programs developed by the team to extend PartStock’s reach into major education and other end user accounts
• Manage and produce reporting on various marketing programs using the Eloqua/CRM-OD Reporting Tools
• Where applicable, work in conjunction with product management to promote slow moving or aging inventory
• Manage key business initiatives identified as strategic to company and/or department objectives
• Use background/knowledge in channel/industry, customer or vendor segments and overall distribution model
• Act as a champion and resource of marketing programs to all functional teams
Experience & Core Competencies:
• Success in developing strong working relationships with internal associates and with external customer groups, suppliers, and business partners
• A clear view of the importance of the inter-dependence across the Sales, Marketing, and Product Management functions
• Demonstrated success in market development initiatives in a high-growth company
• An “off the page” and “anything is possible” level of creativity in program development
• A high level of energy combined with strong communication and presentation skills
• Organizational excellence to support the demands of a global multi-tasking environment
• An good understanding of the IT industry channels, vendors, and routes to market
• A minimum of 2-3 years IT industry experience (with global scope a definite asset)
• Above average proficiency in MS Windows & Office environment
Key Performance Indicators:
• Successful development and implementation of Marketing programs and initiatives that deliver value to our revenue generating Business Units
• Ongoing review and enhancement of existing Marketing properties and resources
• Establishment of a strong working relationship with Sales and Product Management departments
Work Environment:
? Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekend hours or overnight travel in support of seminars, training, or events.
? Ability to manage levels of stress demanded by the position by remaining composed and organized while providing a high level of service to our customers (resellers, business partners, internal).
Must have marketing experience. Local Candidates only! IT experience a plus!
