LOCATION: 236 Lesmill Road, Toronto, ON
STATUS: Full-time
HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

Summary:
As an integral member of the St Joseph Content team, the Director of Marketing will be responsible for working with the Client Services team, St. Joseph Content Divisional leaders (Pi Media, DW+P, Alchemy, G+A and CMI) and other internal clients to understand their marketing requirements and needs. This role will plan, lead and implement projects and activities to support business development goals such as a CRM system, direct mail campaigns, major marketing and sales events, trade shows, sales materials, public relations and marketing plans.
Responsibilities:
• Working with the Vice President, Marketing & Creative to develop and execute annual marketing plans and budgets
• Manage project life cycles from strategic planning to tactical activities
• Plan and launch marketing initiatives and programs for brand and business development
• Support platform and enterprise marketing campaigns
• Liaison and build strong relationships with internal business groups and external partners
• Work closely with a sales team and communicate product plans on a regular basis
• Identify opportunities to enhance brand awareness and create sell opportunities through internally-driven and external market research
• Track, measure and assess event and campaign performance and communicate results to the Client Services team, Divisional Leaders and other internal stakeholders in a timely manner
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders within the company, platform and enterprise levels to develop and execute integrated marketing plans and initiatives
• Conduct business analysis and develop strategies to increase market coverage and penetration in specific market segments
• Conceive, develop and execute direct response campaigns on behalf of St. Joseph Content to customers and prospects (i.e. direct mail, e-mail, etc.).
• Maintain and develop sales tools (including websites, email, print and other media collateral) to support the initiatives of Client Services
• Develop, implement and manage On Demand CRM system, campaigns and measurement
• Work with PR firms to ensure consistent and timely public relations activities to support business needs
• Ensure that marketing activities are completed on time, on spec, accurate and on budget
• Ensure positive relationships are developed with internal and external clients and suppliers
• Plan and manage the content of the St. Joseph Content, enterprise websites and Intranet site
• Manage the planning & execution of key industry trade shows
• Work with St. Joseph Communications in building and executing enterprise-wide Marketing initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must have a Degree or Diploma in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Must have a minimum of 10 years of related experience in marketing communications/services area
- 5+ years experience in managing a team would be considered an asset
- Must have marketing or advertising industry knowledge
- Experience working with On Demand CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce.com, Sugar CRM, etc.)
- Planning skills for complex and/or less well defined projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills - working with internal clients
- Effective problem solving abilities
- Strong computer and MAC desktop publishing skills, working knowledge of: Microsoft Office, Keynote, PowerPoint, as well as Acrobat
- Strong presentation skills to support External and Internal facing presentations
- Public speaking skills

- Highly organized and productive
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Ability to lead and manage direct reports
