Vice President, Marketing (Bloor and Church, Toronto)

E1 Entertainment has become a leading independent entertainment content owner that acquires film, television and music rights and exploits these rights in all media in more than 190 countries. The company currently operates in Canada, the U.S., the UK, Holland and Belgium through its four primary businesses units. Its content library includes more than 3,700 feature films, 2,700 hours of original television programming and 15,000 music tracks.
The Vice President, Marketing will lead the marketing team in the development and execution of marketing plans that will support the sales of E1 Entertainment products across all channels of distribution, including: theatrical, home entertainment, digital and television.
Responsibilities
• Lead strategic marketing initiatives across media platforms
• Distil business strategy and objectives into clear marketing objectives to enable the team to produce plans that support and deliver those goals
• Oversee planning, media and creative executions to ensure campaign effectiveness
• Develop and maintain the marketing relationship with all key suppliers and customers
• Liaise with distribution leaders to set budgets and ensure marketing plans reflect their goals
• Manage the performance, contribution and development of the marketing team members
• Lead and manage agency and supplier relationships and contributions
• Manage and ensure budgets and deadlines are met
• Build processes and procedures that will support the efficient and effective delivery of the marketing product
• Be an active member of the senior management team of the film division
Requirements
• 12 years+ in marketing and/or advertising field with experience across all media
• Leadership and personal management skills
• Results oriented
• Organized and service-driven
• Experience in entertainment, media or distribution an asset
