Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Night MUST BE AVAILABLE TO TRAIN ON DAYS AND AFTERNOONS FOR 4-6 WEEKS

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.):Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification, First Aid Certificate, WHMIS Certificate
Experience:5 YEARS
Area of Specialization:Adjusting machinery and equipment, Start-up and testing, Renovating and restoring, Troubleshooting, Bearing, seals and packing
Type of Industry/Work Setting Experience:Manufacturing
Type of Machinery or Equipment:Conveyors, Hoists and other lifting devices, Grinders, Automated and robotics systems, Electrical and electronic controls, Power tools, Fans and blowers, Hydraulic systems, Pneumatic systems
Weight Handling:Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Specific Skills:Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions, Repair or replace defective machinery parts, Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up, Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
Additional Skills:Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
Own Tools/Equipment:
Tools, Steel-toed safety boots
Other:
This is a steady midnight shift, mainly PM work on machinery, but must be available for training on day and afternoon shift for a period of time.
