Grossman Dorland & Associates Recruitment is a Toronto-based recruiting agency and we are working with a client that requires a .NET Developer (permanent, intermediate to senior level, downtown Toronto) that has strong C# and AJAX skills. Our client is a Toronto-based, well-funded start-up that has created a first-of-it’s-kind content generation platform. Their customers include leading global brands and together they are providing millions of consumers with new and innovative ways to express their personality, creativity and lifestyle. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the .NET Developer role is a permanent position that will play a lead role in designing and developing future versions of their content generation platform.
Requirements
- Experience developing consumer-facing, e-commerce enabled applications.
- 3+ years using ASP.NET and C# specifically.
- 3+ years using AJAX (e.g., ideally using .NET frameworks, Jquery) and advanced javascript.
- Systems integration experience, ideally leveraging web services, XML, APIs, etc.
- Experience with MS SQL Server, although extensive db design and development experience is not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
