Flex / Flash AS3 Programmer (Downtown Toronto)

Texas Instruments Canada requires an experienced freelance Flex developer to work with our team to build online Flex based applications and widgets for engineers using our web site. www.ti.com
Suitable candidates have the ability to work with existing applications, build components or architect completely new systems.
Required Skills:
• Extensive experience with developing libraries, classes and components in Flex using ActionScript 3 and MXML required.
• Skills in HTML/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML are required.
• Some experience with server side scripting and WebServices preferred (ASP.Net/PHP/Perl).
• Provide portfolio of projects that clearly demonstrate skill and experience.
• Work off-site with all necessary hardware/software to complete projects.
• Available to communicate during business hours with core project team.
• Ability to follow documentation and process requirements.
• Effectively estimate project deliverables, multi-task and deliver on time.
• Passion to explore new technologies and alternatives to status quo.
