Senior Fulltime ASP.NET / VB.NET Developer Position (Toronto )

Climax Media in Toronto, Ontario is looking for a ASP.NET/VB.NET programmer with at least 3 years experience developing Web applications and working on Content Management Systems.
We’ve been in business for over nine years and we do exciting and high-profile projects with clients like Honda Canada, Acura Canada, Brookfield Asset Management, Coca-Cola, Budget Car Rentals, and many more. We’re a creative, innovative team and we’re looking for people like us to take the business to the next level.
In exchange for working with us, you get to work with a dream team of designers and programmers who are pushing the limits of apps on the Web. Our clients range from the entertainment industry to automotive, alcohol, consumer products, real estate and television.
You are a highly-motivated team player with good communication skills, strong organization, and the ability to take a design specification for an advanced Web site and turn it into reality.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Work with the project manager and other Climax Media programmers to develop next-generation Web applications and CMS systems.
• Provide input for new projects.
• Create frontend/backend structures for new projects.
• You must be able to work well either on your own or with a team.
Requirements and Qualifications:
For this position, you’ll need at least the following:
• 3+ years experience programming in ASP.NET (versions 1.1-3.5)
• 3+ Years experience programming in VB.NET
• 3+ years experience programming and using MS SQL
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming
• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, Ajax, and Web standards
• In-depth knowledge of CMS-driven Web sites and applications.
• Understanding of IIS 6.0
• Understanding of MS Server 2003
These skills would be great, but aren’t necessary:
• ASP.NET Ajax
• PHP
