PROJECT MANAGER - Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP)
Overview:
This is a dynamic role as project manager for systems implementations and systems design of eHealth with a focus on Great Plains Financial Applications. Provide planning, organization and control while leading a technical team in project work (including development, testing and implementation) to ensure that high quality solutions are designed and developed to meet business requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Assumes day-to-day planning, management and control of projects, including the selection of methodologies, techniques and tools.
• Accountable for ensuring the successful completion of all phases of the project(s) from analysis to implementation.
• Responsible for staffing, budgeting, scheduling and monitoring.
• Oversee architecture and infrastructure.
• Liaise with Integration team to design, develop and implement a total solution.
• Manage the testing and sign off on the integrated solution.
• Develop selection criteria for implementation sites and select sites based on criteria.
• Meet deliverables against agreed plan and within budget.
Desirable Experience:
• A professional with exceptional interpersonal abilities and a strong financial background in addition to a detailed knowledge of Great Plains core modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliation, and Fixed Assets).
• Superior communication skills are essential as you are the critical link between the client and the product development team.
• Experience with change management
• Preference will be given to candidates who understand accounting within the Health Care sector and/or have knowledge of the Long Term Care Health Care, healthcare projects, Ontario healthcare sector or Ontario Community Care
• Project Management certification an asset
• Project management experience
