Bilingual Human Resources Manager (Toronto)

Our client is looking for a Bilingual Human Resources Manager. Reporting to the Director of HR, the incumbent will have primary responsibility for the execution of HR programs and processes to ensure the most effective utilization of people resources needed to maximize business performance, as well as to support employee performance. The HR Manager will ensure that direct HR support is provided to the employees in the areas of recruitment, training, learning development, employee relations, Health Safety/WSIB, performance management, OE succession planning, and compensation benefits administration.
Education and experience:
- College diploma or University degree with major in HR, CHRP certification
- Minimum 3-5 yrs HR generalist experience
- Strong understanding of employment laws
- 2 yrs experience with Quebec provincial legislation
- Must be bilingual (English, French) both oral and written
- Must be able to travel ~30% of time - Must have a license and own a car
- Intermediate level MS Office skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- An experienced, hands-on individual
