Pre-Employment Screening Investigator (12 pm to 8 pm) (York Mills and Leslie)

Position Summary:
Under the direction of the supervisor of Pre-Employment Screening (PES) the successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day handling of client requests for our PES services. Services include referencing of various levels, criminal history checks, credit check processing, immigration searches, drivers licence searches, as well as education and professional accreditation verification. They are responsible to liaison with members of their team; communicate with clients and input requests/findings into our computer system.
The candidate for this position is expected to be well organized, detail oriented and able to work well in both a team and solitary environment. An investigator is expected to have excellent communication skills, above average customer service focus and be able to work in a fast paced environment.
The work hours for this position are 12 pm to 8pm Monday to Friday.
Qualifications:
• A proven self starter, responsible, punctual organized individual
• Post Secondary education (preference to HR diploma or those searching their CHRP designation)
• Clear criminal record
• 5 years Experience in Customer Service/HR roles.
• Experience in report writing is an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English is a necessity – French would be an asset)
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work within a flexible work schedule
• Experience with computer/Internet
• Knowledge of MS Word/Excel
