Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for providing Payroll with all changes to SAP via computer links and paper trail (audits) on a weekly basis.
Primary contact for Payroll on SAP related issues Provide detailed reports, generated from the HR systems to corporate staff and HR staff upon request.
Provide bi-weekly reports to the HR manager regarding outstanding SAP requirements and all issues. Maintain administration of SAP data for the Human Resources department.
Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data. Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers. Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, and disability. Determines payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and provincial income. Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests· Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes. Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Initiates new-hire benefits and changes of information by obtaining, verifying, and recording employee information, and informing insurance carriers of new or changed information.
Resolves employee questions and problems regarding benefits by researching benefit policies and procedures; providing answers to questions and resolutions to problems.
Administer Group Benefits Plan including Life, Short and Long Term Disability, Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Health and Dental benefits.
MUST HAVE: Strong knowledge and use of SAP in HR modules and OM module is A MUST. Highly proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.Familiar with procedures and implementations of benefit programs, as well as payroll administration. Ability to handle confidential information· High energy level and a positive attitude a must. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills.
