Background
eHealth Ontario marks a critical step in the Government’s reform of the health system. eHealth Ontario will provide the secure integrated province-wide information infrastructure to allow electronic communication among Ontario’s health service providers.
CLIENT’S REQUIREMENTS
Scope of Services and Deliverables - The Services and Deliverables to be provided by the Vendor Personnel will include the following:
Deliverables—lead the I2LC phase 3 initiative with the following work packages and deliverables:
Work Packages /Deliverables Description
Methodology enhancement 1. 1. Develop as companion methodology (Acquisition
and Transitioning)
2. Develop I2lLC “lite”
Artefacts and templates 1. 1. Edit and update templates
Criticality & Complexity Tool (C&CT) 1. 1. Update C&CT to account for P&S
2. deliverables
Business Requirements Document 1. 1. Strengthen Gap and Business Impact Analysis
2. Introduce the Traceability matrix templates
3. Consider automation using Rational
Requirements Management Plan (RMP) 1. 1. Update the template based on Lessons Learned
from the pilot
2. Institutionalize use of the RMP
3. Prepare Training and Coaching Plan
4. Consider automation using Rational
Solutions Assurance Team 1. Re-launch SAT with defined role of the
Secretariat
2. Update TOR and templates
Solution Documents 1. Consider FDD expansion to include a snapshot
of the conceptual solution
2. Develop a Knowledge Management version of Use Cases that is useful for Ops
File Management Guidelines 1. Relate to Records Management Policy and
procedures
2. Define document numbering standards
Workflows 1. Update process maps
2. Use standard symbols and conventions
3. Consider automation using Rational
Request Training 1. Provide option to request training
I2lc maintenance/ support team (sustainment) 1. Re-define roles and responsibilities
2. Identify and assign resources
Alignment with other frameworks and methodologies 1. Incorporate Operations Readiness requirements
2. Encourage Ops to build on existing process, artefacts and templates
Standards
1. Work on Enterprise Standards c/o Mary Ann Juurlink and Infrastructure Standards c/o Steve B. & Craig V
