The Serve4it’s Client TTC - Toronto Transit Commission - GTA #2009-29 is requiring the services of a Sr. Business Analyst
Position Title: Sr. Business Analyst
Estimated Start Date: September, 2009
Contract Anticipated Duration: 52 Weeks
Rates: 73 to 83 dollars an hour
Project Description:
The purpose of this project is to replace the TTC's existing Accounts Payable system. The project is currently in the planning stage for the implementation (rollout) of the IFS Accounts Payable application.
Description of Duties/Scope of Work
The key responsibility of the BA will be to assist in the implementation the IFS Accounts Payable application using the IFS Implementation Methodology within the TTC environment. This includes the following tasks and activities:
• Liaise between Subject Matter Experts and Quality Assurance Analysts and the Technical Team members. The BA will be responsible for performing business analysis and for communication with business stakeholders ensuring that the project delivers an adequate business solution to the team.
• Responsible for leading the legacy data clean up process.
• Analyze and develop business process models, prepare operating procedures and guidelines, develop process model scenarios, develop user profiles and security restrictions, analyze specifications and basic data.
• Deliver documentation such as user help manuals, training materials and presentations.
• Deliver application solution documentation such as the preparation of the IFS modification functional specifications and assist in evaluating the acceptance of IFS modifications.
• Review application and data migration test plan and validate test cases, set up basic data, ensure application configuration to execute test cases.
• Co-ordinate system interface and integration specification review and sign-off.
• Establish end-to-end testing requirements for interfaces such as payment check, G/L etc.
• Assist in performing acceptance testing
Deliverables
Develop, update and maintain a variety of project documents and specifications.
Deliver adequate business solution by coordinating between the project team and Subject Matter Experts.
Application solution testing including end-to-end GL reconciliation and data migration validation.?
