IT Administrator
High Road Communications shapes integrated communications for technology and digital lifestyle companies, serving clients across North America from offices in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Vancouver and San Francisco. We have an immediate opportunity in our Toronto office location for an IT Administrator.
Roles and Responsibilities:
•Help desk support
•Basic network troubleshooting and wireless network support
•New PC hardware and software set-ups
•Responsibility for all laptops and desktop systems (break/fix, OS updates, hardware upgrades, inventory control)
•Responsible for data backups, desktop anti-virus, PC patch management (Printing and peripherals (fax, scanners, video/web cams, monitors, SmartCard readers)
•Troubleshoot Telephony (Avaya system, TELUS services, Smart Phones)
•Active Directory maintenance (new hires/fires, email aliases, password resets)
•Create and support SharePoint team/client sites
•Gathering documentation for Quarterly SOX Portal testing
•Call escalation/resolution, troubleshooting, researching, coordinated with vendors (Dell, Digitcom, MS, Symantec Canon)
•Desktop application support (MS Office, SharePoint, Outlook, Live Meeting, Postini, YouSendIT, HATS, Phone Manager, eTrust AV, NetExtender, VOCUS, MovieMaker)
Qualifications:
•Must have at least 3 years working experience in a similar role
•Excellent customer service track record
•Highly motivated, organized and process driven
•Good communication skills and documentation writing
•Must be able to prioritize workloads and track all progress
•Excellent trouble shooting and problem solving skills
•Work independently and in team environment
•Must be Microsoft Certified
Must have at 2 years SharePoint and Exchange experience
