Product Developer/R&D (Food Manufact.) Job Description:
Our client, a manufacturer of packaged frozen food products, is seeking a Research and Development Technologist (Product Developer) to join their team.

Major job duties include:

• Researching and developing new products in the frozen food (eg. pizza pockets, calzones etc) and frying food items sectors.
• A Minimum of 5 (five) years experience developing frozen dough items such as pizza pockets, calzones or similar items OR frozen, fried foods such as chicken fingers or similar items- this is a must.

• Providing technical assistance to customers

• Assisting in technical sales calls or product inquiries
• Conducting analytical, physical, and sensory testing on above mentioned products as required
• Taking client requirements and creating products specifically designed to meet their needs

• Preparing samples for sales purposes

Required Skills:
FOOD SCIENCE DEGREE
FROZEN FOOD EXPERIENCE
FRIED FOODS
PRODUCT MATCHING
SCALE UPS
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
