We are currently seeking a Web Developer/ Graphic Designer Must Have Both. Full or part time. Below I have included a more detailed job description. Please note that all candidates must have a portfolio that we can review.
Responsibilities:
• Create web pages, and perform web production tasks as assigned by Manager.
• Work as team member on large projects, translating wireframes and art director’s concepts into CSS/HTML pages.
• Tasks include: laying out components using CSS2 style sheets; working with dynamic elements populated with an in-house CMS; building content pages, index pages, forms, help documentation, and more; testing and trouble-shooting across multiple supported platforms; creating a testing links; addressing bugs and broken links during a formal QA process.
• Work independently on smaller sub-tasks and site maintenance tasks following established guidelines and templates.
• Work with web master to maintain a well organized server.
• Use specialized knowledge and professional judgment to work with information systems based on computers and related technologies
Key Qualifications
• Minimum of three (3) years in web development
• Excellent web development skills, with an awesome online portfolio.
• Expert knowledge of HTML and CSS2 coding, including an understanding of cross-browser, cross-platform issues.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, organized, and well-documented code.
• Ability to play a specific role on a team, or work independently, depending on the demands of the projects assigned
• Ability to handle multiple simultaneous assignments, meet tight deadlines, balance competing demands, and promptly communicate issues.
• Comfortable working in both MAC and Windows environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Javascript and ActionScript is an asset.
• A degree or diploma in web design, programming, or related field
