Explore a whole new career option or just develop a new skill at Toronto’s Premiere Social Dance Studio.
Dance District: Social Dance Studio offers its fourth installment of the Teacher Training Program. This course is designed to teach you how to dance and how to teach others to dance and is aimed at people who are not expert dancers. We have three past graduates teaching for Dance District, and several others who are working at other studios in the GTA.
Highlights:
Small class capped at 14 students
Learn both lead and follow steps
Learn 4 school figures in 10 dances
Two expert instructors with a combined 50 years of dance and 30 years of instruction experience.
Course starts Monday, July 6th, 2008 with a one hour orientation at 6pm.
Classes meet once per week (Mondays) for 2 hours.
Requirements:
Enthousiasm and dedication to the program.
Strong interpersonal skills
Dance background an asset but not required
Teaching experience an asset but not required
Cost:
5 month long sessions with two exam periods
Program Contract is monthly and costs $210 per session, allowing you or us to terminate contract at the end of each month long session.
No-Cost In-Kind service option available based on 2 hours of work and 2 hours of practice for each 2 hours of instruction.
