Summary: LexisNexis, a leading global provider of content-enabled workflow solutions, seeks a Legal Editor in Canada.
Responsibilities:
o Index and classify Canadian case law by legal subject
o Maintain a legal taxonomy
o Write, edit and select case law summaries for digest products on the Quicklaw™ online legal research service
o Conduct legal research
o Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications:
o Bachelor of Laws degree
o Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail
o Ability to function independently as well as within a team and to cope with competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
o Editorial experience is preferred
o Bilingualism is an asset
