Bilingual Regional Contract Specialist (Mississauga)

The role of the Regional Contract Specialist is to work with the Group Business Analyst to support Sales in all contract renewals and RFP¡¦s, following the contract renewal process. The incumbent will work with the Sales Team to ensure all contract renewals are completed in a timely manner. The Regional Contract Specialist will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of all contracts and pricing agreements. Work collaboratively with the various Business Operations functions, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Legal departments. Resolve contract issues through direct involvement and by leading/supporting others.
Responsibilities:
„X Respond to customers (internal and external) enquiries, analyzing price discrepancies and making appropriate recommendations
„X Responsible for maintaining accurate regional master contract file and regional contracts resources for the company
„X Maintain the integrity of the company¡¦s Agreement database in order to manage contract calendars
„X Manage contract process by ensuring full compliance (pricing procedures and policies
„X Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of contracts for respective customers
„X Accountable for direct, end-customer in the development of contractual verbiage
„X Scrutinize viability of any requested changes or additions to standard contract verbiage.
„X Work with Contracts Manager, Legal Department or the Business owner for guidance and approval
„X Responsible for the accurate and timely notification of pricing and eligibility to customers
„X Support contract and RFP requirements for the Region
„X Assist the Regional Director with the strategic management of the Regional Contract Calendar taking into account the National perspective
„X Act as Project Manager in all contract renewals
„X Managing the contract process, leading the process for preparation of consumable agreements
„X Ensure all contract renewals occur in a timely manner and use judgment on determining if there is a need to escalate to Management team
„X Use business judgment to ensure consistency amongst all contracts within the region
„X Be subject matter expert with Group Purchasing Organization and / or Customer Buying Groups and apply that judgment to contract renewals/pricing with a strategic vision in mind
„X Support RFP Leader with regional RFP¡¦s and RFI¡¦s
„X Leads process for preparation of agreements and quotation and ensure that all requirements SOP¡¦s have been met
„X Preparation and creating contracts and price quotations
„X Executing Enhancement reports and make recommendations to Sales Team on payout based on knowledge of customer dynamic
„X Responsible for auditing SOX related reports
Qualifications
„X Excellent written and oral communications in both French & English
„X Strong analytical/problem solving skills
„X Proficiency in MS Office Suite with emphasis on Word and Excel
„X Excellent organizational skills
„X Ability to work independently and manage time well
„X Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines
